Re: 2008 4.8I se Digital Tv Tuner?

What are you trying to access, you mentioned TV, which was a cost option
It will be in the entertainment section, then where it says AM. FM USB . AUX. Keep scrolling right until you get to TV.

Re: Apple Car Play - Waze sound

As I've never used Waze, i have the App but never got to use it for some reason. Google maps has recently had a good upgrade and is better than Apple maps ,as it has now got permanent and temporary speed camera warnings. Apple maps has the speed limits for each location on screen, but hasn't got you...

Re: Apple Car Play - Waze sound

Try swiping your screen on the phone whilst in navigation and selecting Audio, can't remember the option you have to tick, but it's pretty obvious whilst in there. I had this trouble with Nav instructions in my van, and it sorted it. It worked on Apple maps , but google maps had no audio until I car...

Re: Gone to over to the dark side.

👍 keep us informed as to how it performs. Good to see you trying other Manufacurers.
I've run VW vans for years, probably done several 100k miles without a breakdown.
Deffo a better bet than an E83 X3 you considered previously.
Good luck, ( just wondering why you don't buy a local Greek car. ?)

Re: High Level Of Battery discharge even after new battery

There have been reports of the IDrive systems / parasitic drains on the batteries on certain cars, may be worth pulling the fuse and seeing if it stops the drain, also checking if the car is going to sleep

Re: Transfer case leak?

For piece of mind I would get the levels checked on all my fluid levels. On a lighter note in the eighties, ( before any environmental worries ) we used to take our , Ford Cortina/ Holman avengers/ Moriss Marinas to our local garage, for them to spray used engine oil on to the underneath/ chassis to...

Re: X5 e53 diesel crank but no start

Have you had the codes read, it could be several things, if it's the high pressure fuel pump it would have flagged a low rail pressure fault code, etc, or camshaft sensor will throw a code etc
Randomly changing parts will be a costly guessing game.

Re: Blue tooth

I had the CCC in a 2007 E93 and that had the USB port, this enabled phone/ iPod integration is a cable, others have bought a cheap USB - Bluetooth interface to enable Bluetooth integration. If it's not got the USB socket and is the basic CC...

Re: BMW X3 F25 Automatic Transmision Oil Change

BMW state that gearboxes are sealed for life, and don't come under any service plan
BMW , life is 60,000 miles !
Get it serviced at 60, 000, or 80,000
If it lasts that long, PX or buy a new one 😀
ZF who make the gear boxes recomendation is 60k.
