I bought the Scanner 1.4 a while back.
Works fine.
Used it to get the Webasto heater working on the built in timer. Alarm to chirp going on and off. TV to work when moving, although this is pointless as the reception isn't good enough.
Track down faulty PDC sensors, plus a few other things.

Right hand side of the boot, in behind the fuse/relay box I think.

The straight ones are the centre 2 (and all 4 of the rear ones) and the angled ones are at the ends.

At the risk of sounding a bit like countdown, there are 2 from the front and 3 from the back.

it would appear to be something loose in the head unit. Took it out, had a look, reseated everything, put it back and it's working again, don't know how long for though

Pretty sure it has everything to do with aerodynamics Jayana ;)  Given that there is no drumming when the car is stationary and it increases with speed, until at about 60 mph the vibrations actually hurt your ear drums. You are talking about Coefficient of Drag, which is how "slippery" it ...
