Re: Exhaust Tailpipes

They are supposed to be clamped on but as they are only 1mm bigger than standard pipes they just need to be firmly pushed on (I used a rubber mallet). Only problem is once on you won't get them off

Re: E83 X3 towbar installation and dedicated electrics.

I have the same kit on mine and haven't gone to the glovebox. All my wiring is in the boot. Maybe you can tell me what adding to the glovebox gives you? They must run out of the 7pins alot as they did the same for me last April/May. http://i64.tinypic.com/jikkuh.jpg http://i66.tinypic.com/15fhklx.jpg

Re: E83 Glowplug, faulty

I had a pain doing my glow plug controller as I did it with the inlet manifold still on.

How dirty were your swirl flaps?

This was mine @54k miles

Re: BMW X3 e83 2004 2.5i H7 bulb holder plastic holder

So you do not have the fixing tabs highlighted in red?

Unfortunately I think you will need to find a damaged/2nd hand light unit and remove it, if possible and fit to yours.

Re: BMW X3 e83 2004 2.5i H7 bulb holder plastic holder

Does your car have H7 bulbs or Xenon?

If H7 there is no actual holder as such, they just clip into the fixing hole.

Picked up the X3 today,
After the tyres were fitted I went on a drive and instantly felt and drove much smoother. All the slipping and lurch has gone

Re: Can I fit a square setupon to staggered wheels.

I am a firm believer in the * star only tyres.

I have recently fitted 4 new Pirelli tyres too mine at a cost of £750.

The E83 does not come with RFT.
