Yeah got it back from bmw on Tuesday absolutely gleaming, they'd polished it cleaned inside looked wonderful until that sod didn't realise how wide his x6 was! T cut at the teady

Bloody X6 has just given me the option of front end crash or the hedge! Chose the Hedge and no how a lovely set of scratches the full length of the car!!

Mine fitted and I think I bought it from the same place and works really well, very please with the sound quality from it although all volumes have to be turned up high

Rear tailgate light restoration

I've seen a lot if X5 with really full scratches rear tailgate/reverse lights mine included. With the tailgate getting repaired I thought is take the opportunity to renovate them. I bought the 3M headlight restorer off eBay £20 and with the use of a corded drill ( cordless don't rotate quick enough)...

Might be a better idea to get a warranty direct warranty as touch wood the gearbox is okay for now

I know this is an old post but I have just had my lower tailgate replaced under the BMW corrosion warranty for free due to rust bubbles appearing on the inside of the lower tailgate. check your car for evidence of this as it will be a matter of time before the water starts the corrosion process from...

Got quoted £330 for oil change inc filters with 6litres of shell oil, is this about average??

Yeah having the right gear for the job is half the battle together with a bit of car maintenance experience :) sterling services in Stockton in tees have been recommended so I'll maybe give them a call

I only trust myself 100% but I've never really tackled
Car things. Fitted kitchens boilers, electrical installation but cars for some reason (we'll the thought of messing something big time on a bmw scares me) :)
