Re: VERDICT ON REMAP DONE BY JASON

What mpg were you getting before and what do you get now?

I'm quite interested as I'm thinking about buying an e70 3.0d from a family member and they were only getting 24mpg mostly town driving (450 to a tank I think)

Front and rear pads needed soon

Alot of this depends on if you can DIY.

Had a look on Ecp and prices as follows:
Front disc £104 x 2 each
Rear disc: £50 x 2 each
Front pads : £74
Rear pads: £51
Sensors: £18 x 2 each

Total: £466, £350 after winter discount

The above is based on an e70 3.0d

I hope this helps

Hi Looking at realoem it states galfer as the original manufacturer. Never heard of them. In all my bmws I've always used pagid or textar, both from Eurocarparts, and then fitted myself. I don't think resetting the I drive was hard, I'm sure there is a guide on the forum. Ecp also had 25% off So wor...

Mpg for 3.0d

Hi all

Thinking of getting an e70 3.0d se

What sort of mpg should I expect. I mainly drive to work (25miles) mainly on the motorway and do some local town driving, but I have another car to do that

In my 535d I used to get 35mpg roughly.

Thanks

Re: facelift diesel advice needed........looking to buy

[quote=""X5Sport""]From what I've seen on the various boards, loss of pixels quite often means a change of the entire instrument cluster - not cheap! Vehicle then has to go to a dealer to be recoded. Not sure on price as mine is a year newer with a lot less mileage (44k) and that...

facelift diesel advice needed........looking to buy

Hi all Looking to buy a facelift e53 diesel, and needed some advice. Ive seen a black 04 plate sport auto for sale which has tv, sat, nv, 6cd changer (i guess the comms pack), 94k on the clock with full history (part independant). Now all looks good, but the pixels on the instrument cluster are star...
