Are there any other shocks/suspension bit from other models that fit the x5? I know it shares a few parts with the e39/46 just wanted to know specifically about the suspension.

I have the auto box in the facelift x5, is it possible to swop the box out from a 335d? They have the same part numbers, but can’t handle more power. Possible or not worth it?

Just curious to see if anyone has had some made up? Did it work out cheaper than the bc racing coil overs?

Bmw vin didn't mention anything about speakers or sub so I'm guessing I have the basic package. If I upgrade the fone speakers with new Mids/ tweeters, will I need to disconnect the dash speaker as well?

How much of a job is it to replace the front suspension on a 3.0d with front air suspension from an IS model? Is it worth the expense? Just want to be able to adjust the ride height with a button

You can get e53 ones, but the e70 ones are slightly wider & colour matched to make them look a bit more refined. Just wanted t know if it's a straight swap or I'll go for the e53 ones

Just to add, it's a low grinding noise, that sends vibrations through the steering wheel. It's stops after a certain speed. It feels as if the is some resistance on acceleration until it 'catches' before returning to normal performance

I have a 2004 auto & recently started getting vibrations around 15-25mph, the front wheel bearing last have been done so it's not them. Looking at YouTube there's videos about striped driveshaft splines, I'm just after a bit of info before I get shafted by the local mechanic.

After changing the disks & pads I still had the judder around 60mph, replaced the brake reaction arms & it was all good.
