The garage says thereshe nothing wrong. Checked everything prop shafts half shafts cv joints suspension etc. Theyve put it down to the wheels not being standard but they're only 19" I can't believe the originals are smaller?

Hello. I've just bought a 2005. X5 4.4 v8 auto. With 162k miles. I've noticed a 'metal on metal' sound at around 15mph. It does it in 1st,2nd, and 3rd gears. The auto box won't let me select 4th at the speed the noise happens but. Suspect it's a speed related issue. It makes a lot of noise then some...
