There is a pretty strong internal spring that is supposed to pull the nozzle back in. If yours is failing to retract then it could mean the spring has lost its tension. I replaced the passenger headlight washer jet last weekend. You can get one for less than £20 on eBay. It's quite an easy job if y...

Yes coding is possible, as is alarm chirp when car is locked I’ve coded, Digital speed display on binnacle Alarm chirp, when locking, it’s possible to also have this for unlocking Five flash indicators, Played around with the headlamp wash, though reverted to every third squirt of the screen Remote...

Is it possible to perform any coding on a 2009 e70 via Carly or Bimmercode? I'd like to have my car give an audible signal when the alarm is activated. Be interested to know if anybody else has performed any coding on their e70.

So I got my prop shaft checked this week and all is ok. The shaft in the early e70s does not have the universal joint that is the cause of the problems.

I had a 2011 e71 4.0d and the uj suffered catastrophic failure in 2015 whilst being driven at slow speed. The vehicle had just been serviced and had been passed by BMW under the VHC scheme (even although it was very clear at the time that the under tray had not been removed!) Thankfully BMW covered ...
