I just changed the bags myself and car went back to normal job done.
J make sure you fit the new 0 rings that come with the bags as seen people getting problems with leaving old ones on.

Air Spring

I've just had a quote from a local indy to fit air springs at £1034! This includes 2x springs at £412 ea.... I've actually got Arnott springs coming which were £138 ea.

The quote includes ride height calibration. Is this essential as I'm thinking of doing them myself?

Air springs

Those checks used to be free, but suddenly aren’t :o My X6 went in for MOT - nothing wrong, not even a caution. Goes in for a Health Check two weeks later and a front suspension joint might be a bit slack. Why not found in MOT? Hmmmm. And to add insult to injury they then tell me afterwards it need...

Air springs

Interestingly, its just been into BMW for a couple of recalls and BMW always carry out a 'health check', in an attempt to relieve of your hard earned, and the suspension came back as all good.

Air springs

Hi all

My RH rear corner droops occasionally. Might do it once a week, might do it a couple of times a day, might not do it at all for a number of days.

I haven't checked the air bag, but I'd have thought it would droop consistently if an air bag was leaking.

Any thoughts?

Fuse

Hi all

I can't find it for looking!

Can anybody tell me where the fuse for the front cigarette lighter is, please?

Its a 2014 F15.

Everything I see says under the glove box but I have no fuses there.

Re: Owners

Thanks all. I've resolved it in my head and I think I'm happy to proceed with everything I've seen to do with the car. I guess not everybody has a favourable experience with every dealer. I've had bad experiences where lots of others haven't. As they say, you pays your money and takes your choice. C...

Owners

Hi all I'm looking at a 2014 30d msport from twelve London Road- anybody know them? They appear to stock decent, quality cars. I'm wrestling with the number of owners it has - 3 currently so I'd be the 4th. It's has good BMW service history and looks a well looked after car. Am I being unduly concer...

Re: Potential X5

Thanks Fellas. No too fussed on Msport, to be honest. I worry its a little firm for my ageing bones, lol. That said, if one pops up I'll certainly consider it, My initial thought was it needs BMW history or at least a BMW indy history. Just seeing how others with more experience view it. Thanks for ...

Re: Potential X5

Interesting what you're saying regards the price. I'm looking st about £20/21k and unless I go seriously high mileage, I'm not seeing a lot around. I'm looking closer to home ideally which is the sunny south coast. Thanks for all your info, by the way. I'm only just on the first rung of the ladder, ...

Re: Potential X5

Would you worry about the lack of BMW service history?

Potential X5

I'm still in the hunt for an X5 and saw this car today.

The service history it says is not BMW or BMW independent. What do we think about that?

Re: Multiple MOT

I was dissapointed, to be honest.

I expected more from a BMW dealer.
