Re: Stock speaker improve

I replaced the front door speakers and underseat subs with Focal components and subs. I also bought an amp but didnt bother fitting it as it sounds good enough without it.

Re: Glow plugs?

It is a 12v car so they should be 12v glow plugs. Glow plugs do age and become less efficient and fail. My old boat will start in any weather as long as I wait till the glow plugs have done their job- about 25 secs ( 40 yr old Mercedes engine). If your diesel car has trouble starting then there is ...

Re: Glow plugs?

Ah ok I have read it wrong. Oddly the Beru controller operates at 12v and the Bosch plugs say they operate at 7v....am I overthinking this?

Re: Glow plugs?

The only thing that makes me think the fuse is ok is that the heater symbol lights momentarily before crank but worth a check

Re: Glow plugs?

I cant think of anything else that would cause this as it is definitely temp related. I used Carly to scan the car several times.

Glow plugs?

Forgive me if I have asked this before as i have posted on so many forums recently. I have a 2010 40d which is a pig to start from cold in sub zero temperatures, requiring several attempts at cranking until it eventually starts. This would suggest to me an issue with either the heater plugs, wiring ...

Re: Wipers issue

I have put up with the intermittent wiper issue for a while now but today they gave up. I removed the motor and discovered that the nylon gear within it had stripped. After searching eBay I see that these gears can be purchased on their own for £25, just not in the UK. I am now left with a quandary....

Re: Wipers issue

The indicator flashes seem to have returned to five of their own accord, they used to be three but coded to five using carly a number of months ago. The wipers however work for a while but dont park in their normal position and sometimes they are on constantly. The battery is recent with good voltag...

Wipers issue

Drove the car last week and instead of the usual 5 blinks of the indicators they were only flashing once. The next day they went back to the usual 5 flashes. After this I noticed that the wipers would occasionally park about 2 inches higher than normal. Today when turning on the wipers they operated...
