Re: New X6 (now with some pink ones)
The front is too complicated looking, like the overall shape as it reminds me of my car.

"Vehicle check" coming up on the (CBS) Condition Based Service, how much?
Hi All, The CBS is telling me that the car will need a Vehicle check in October even though I had it serviced yesterday and alll the fluids etc now show 2016 as next service. What does this Vehicle check mean, and what will it cost at the Stealers? Mileage is 45,000 currently. Car is a 35d Cheers St...

Black car, what colour wheels
I am thinking of changing the wheels colour on the X6. Currently wheels are glossy black Y spoke 214's. Other than the standard bright silver wheels, are there any colours that will look great with beautiful sapphire black that I should be considering? I was thinking of shadow chrome ? anyone have t...

Asking Space grey car owners, what colour is it ?
OK,...So I know it is grey, but the more I look at pics on the net (while waiting for my Space Grey X to be ready hopefully this week) of this colour the more blue I can see that it has in the pics, and in some pics it looks straight forward grey.. Do I need to turn off my laptop and spend more time...

Re: Lowering X6 advice
It has springs Raj.
I think bigger wheels will make the ride harder, so discounted that idea, besides current tyres are almost new.. Would look good though.

Lowering X6 advice
I will be collecting the X6 next week and the missus told me how funny the gap in the arches looks from her height which is below me at 6'6". :o I need to get it lowered, has anyone done this on here and can recommend springs that will make the car corner more flat but not firm up the ride an...

Re: Running boards pitted- warranty claim ?
I sent the dealer an email saying to replace or clean the pitting off and then reseal the aluminium running boards.
What do you have to say to get them repaired under warranty ?

Re: www,bwchiptune.co.uk remaps offers for xdrivers
Thanks Sanj for your example, and highlights my point perfectly.. What is the trade off to keep to pre-remap levels of smoke from exhaust at kick-down Jason, much less power? What I am trying to understand is, why even let it get that bad to embarrass anyone that experiences it (including me previo...

Re: www,bwchiptune.co.uk remaps offers for xdrivers
Hi Jason
Have you had any post remap complaints re issues..eg. smoky exhausts on kickdown which didn't smoke prior to remap etc..?? Do you know why some remaps cause this, particularly on diesel engines?
Cheers
Steve

Running boards pitted- warranty claim ?
Hello, Has anyone had problems with running boards having unsightly black pitting marks on them while the car is still in warranty, and tried to claim on the BMW to have them replaced? I am looking at an X6, and the sales guy sent me a video walkround on the car, and pointed out that this car like m...
