I sent the dealer an email saying to replace or clean the pitting off and then reseal the aluminium running boards. 

What do you have to say to get them repaired under warranty ?

This is not at a London BMW dealer and Grey by any chance? If so then I saw that on Sat and walked away

Have you had any post remap complaints re issues..eg. smoky exhausts on kickdown which didn't smoke prior to remap etc..?? Do you know why some remaps cause this, particularly on diesel engines?

It is now officially the hardest colour  >:D

I decided to go with the X6 in the end  O:-) Hope it will be ready to collect in a few days, once they sort out the pitted running boards
