Aerosus air bag suspensions - any reviews?

I believe my rear air bags are the culprit to why it drops over night due to leakage in a break

I don't see many options, BMW, arnott, aerosus or cheap china parts

Aerosus for the e70 a pair direct is £180
2 year warranty and made in Germany and shipped from Germany

Thinking of these but any bad reviews or feedback?

Otherwise arnott seems like a popular choice if not going BMW, but a single one is £190, so if choosing aerosus potential savings of £190

I've just ordered an airspring for my 07 from aerosol (only one,as BMW only changed a single one for the previous owner - although it seems most do them in paris) - will let you know how i get on fitting next weekend.

I've just managed to put the order through for a pair

Will keep this updated for future reference for others

Their email comms has been brilliant to date with a Robert responding to me and letting me know which part as two are listed

Just need them delivered and find a mechanic to do the job

Hoping it fixes my self diagnosed x5 e70 dropping height ok rear left left over night

well...........

air spring arrived safe and sound yesterday
- removal & fitting went fairly smoothly, however refit is becoming a nightmare!!!! aghhh!

I the bag is compressed, so won't reach the bottom of the suspension - no problem, i've jacked it up so it meets, however the bottom plastic connector will not go into the bottom of the suspension arm - i've tried all sorts, but can't get it to go through - anyone got any ideas???

Thanks for the tips - appears i did everything right, but it was just a ridiculously tight fit - i ended up getting a mobile mechanic to do it - £40 (took him nearly 2 hours) and a decent trolley jack to do it (glad i did, as i'd never of managed to do it.

He's also fitting new breaks on Monday for me (that i had in a box in the garage to fit myself) until he said £35......didn't even hesitate for that sort of money!

so all appears to be well and a short test drive of 200 miles tonight to London should see if all is well........

Brilliant

Glad it got sorted

Was there signs of rips and tears in the old air bag?

Mobile mechanic and at that price, bargain!

Not worth getting hands dirty and lifting the mighty heavy wheels lol
