Who's using 20" Staggered NON Runflats on their XDrive and getting away with it?

I had a brief spell with some budget non runflats (on a different set of wheels) and loved every minute and all seemed well on my 2010 E70 X5 40d.

But I chickened out and fitted my wheels with Dunlop Runflats back on in case it broke. I had the non runflats on for around 3 weeks so I'm thinking of going for it again, for real and with some Toyo's.

What are your experiences folks?

When I got my X6 in early 2015 the first thing I did was replace the runflats with Vredestein Ultrac Vorti’s. I’m now on my second set of them and touch wood have had no issues with transmission or anything else.
Cheers
Phil.

My car arrived a month ago on brand new budget tyres ,20 inch staggered setup and seems ok so far , not going to change them for a what if or a maybe might happen. My car is highish miles anyway at 129k so you could argue any failures are wear and tear . :) I've no warranty to worry about and no need for runflats tyres.

I’m using staggered runflats but 2 makes. The rears are brand new so it will be waste if I change them. I’m cheap so don’t want to spend money on tyres unless I have to. No problems so far but I haven’t driven 1000 miles yet. My worrying mind tells me to get then sorted but I just haven’t got round to it yet.
