No, not suggestions but the bits on the end of the pipes

Anyone changed these, is it a rear cover off exercise or just grovelling underneath.

My car has shiny chrome that I'd like to swap to shiny black. Theyre not cheap and i dont want to embark on a simple job that proves to be anything but :)

Depends on age of the car some pull off as are in held place with a metal spring clip, older ones have a screw in the bottom.

The black ones I desire are spring fitted with a locking bolt, i assume (dangerously?) Factory originals are the same.

Well, in theory its do-able from underneath laying on ones back. Do I fancy that at my age?

Just took mine off to spray them black ...easy.. one torx screw in the bottom and pullf/wiggle off..4 spring clips...took less than 5 minutes, yes you do have to lay on back.

Painting is obviously an option but i wanted the black high gloss look, the same as used on the window trims.
They're on there way to me now, but I'm abroad until Sept so unfortunately they won't be fitted anytime soon.
