After the rebuild it obviously had a new tensioner fitted within weeks I fitted the pre-oiler system. After a year I changed the tensioner, that's when I compared spring length and struggled to fit it. The next time I just fitted the closed tensioner much easier.

As I have the pre-oiler as soon as the ignition is turned on I have oil pressure in the tensioner so not an issue for me I still change the tensioner with the interim oil change my son says its called paranoia
