Awesome!! Let us know how it goes!
Are the amps a direct swap? Or is there much cable splicing to be done?

Very interested in the outcome of this, ie ease of fitment and sound quality, although i understand the latter is different to everbodys tastes...
Any chance of a pictoral how to fit aswell, if your doing it yourself...
Also if you dont mind divulging the aprox cost of it all.
Thanks...

So this install isn’t exactly plug and play.....

I have a MOST ring interface that converts the digital audio signal into SPIDF via a Tosh link cable.

Tosh link goes straight into the P6 for processing via it’s BURR BROWN DACS.

The P6 then sends the analog signal to the speakers.

The P6 does time alignment and graphic equalisation.

Basically the purest sound via the OEM head unit.

You change the input signal pathway to the processor too so you can stream lossless files direct or via USB.

The Helix stuff is very very good quality German engineering.

If anyone is after any Helix, Ground Zero, Audison, Rainbow, Eton stuff let me know what you want and I will supply you with UK stock cheaper than anyone else.

I will be taking some photos and demonstrating how to get a true musical reproduction in your car.

Thanks, Sam

I used to run a helix pdsp with gladen underseats in my e92 a few years ago. UI for helix was very good. Just got an E70 (today!) so would be interested if you could give more info on cost and diy?
