Electrical Issues

Post by StumpyPete » Mon Aug 09, 2010 11:26 am

The recent copy of Which comments that about 25% of X5 owners complained of "non-engine electrical issues" - what's the experience on here?

Personally I would be in the 25%, having had to have an xDrive control unit replaced, and also the roof antenna wiring replaced.

With so many things to go wrong electrically on the X5 i'm not surprised at the result... especially when your car becomes a statistic because of a faulty Parking Sensor or a sticky Brake Light.
