Yeah, think i may need to get mine sprayed or have some carbon style protector film made up to hide it and look like it there meant to be there lol

well i've done nearly 400 miles now and all ive stuck in is the £70 from when i picked it up and its still on qtr full, quite a bit town driving over the weekend too, so seems not so bad on fuel for me.

Couple of q's tho:
1. whats the difference between the sport button and knocking it over to DS mode?
2. when ive plugged my phone in via aux, i cant find a way to change songs, only by selecting next song on the actual phone.
3. Does the memory 1 and 2 link to the key, as the wife has the spare key, so when she wants to drive it, when she opens it with her key, will the seat move to her setting that i have set up when i had her key plugged in, or will she have to press '2' once in the car every time?

Thanks.

On another note, i've ordered
- gloss black kidneys with double fins,
- black 'X5' badge for the back,
- some gel msport sticky things for the wheels as some were missing,
- complete interior led white bulbs upgrade.

Just need to buy some black spray to get rid of the chrome trim around the windows as wrapping is too expensive, so ill just spray them myself, and get some new plates made up for my private plate as its snapped taking it off my 325.

I'm looking to get my chrome window trims done but I'll be having them wrapped as when I asked a pro bodyshop they declined saying the paint won't stick properly. Been quoted 150 locally.

After only 1000 miles my freshly painted arches are covered in minor gravel rash on the passenger side not so bad on drivers ,hardly worth painting them lol going to see about some black vinyl to cover it tomorrow hopefully.

Ds is sport mode, I don't have a sport button not sure which if any models do but ds makes it come alive if you want a speedy overtake :D The seats will be programmed to whichever key was in when a memory was selected and will move to correct position on unlocking.

Driving on country roads that are covered in gravel at the moment with all the heavy rain is destroying the paint ! Front mudflaps are starting to sound a good idea ..

I've been looking at the mudflaps, just shy of 50quid for the four on ebay, might stop it happening and the sides and back getting caked in shit too.

Make sure the mudflaps you buy fit the sport model, mine had some fitted and they are a special shape for the arches etc.... sold em now though as they look a bit pants!

Looks like part number :
82162154284 is for the front sport flaps and
82160428644 for the rear ones .

The front are 92 quid on ebay genuine ones id imagine cheaper ones won't fit too well.

Where did you order the chrome black kidney grilles and black boot badge? Are they oem or aftermarket and easy to fit? I was thinking of doing mine as the chrome with Alpine white colour doesn’t stand out ..needs to be black.
Not sure if I’m gonna attempt it myself unless it’s easy.

both are off ebay, grills are double slatted and were 47.99, and perfect fit, and the boot badge was about 8quid, both easy to fit and look the part and so much better.

Also ordered alu scuff plates too and they look amazing and a nice touch when you open the door, they came pre sticky too so just press and play.
