2 Phones connected at same time

Post by NewX5 » Wed Apr 06, 2011 4:59 pm

Hi can someone tell me what I need to do to get this to work, as I have previously had both phones connected at the same time (iphone 3gs/ B/B 8310) working fine but now don’t seem to work. Thanks

This may help I don't think the 2 can be connected at the same time though, 1 will have priority.

You can have two connected, one as main to receive calls and the second one to stream music via bluetooth. once you have both connected press options (phone has to be highlighted) and chose Additional phone.

Do you choose additional phone for all or just one phone and If one which one. Thanks

ok, once you have 2 phones paired and connected via bt one (I think the first one connected) will be the primary, the other one secondary.
on the screen where phones are listed you select one of them (orange frame around phone name) and press Options button, There in the menu you chose Secondary(I can't remember what exactly it says there but you got the idea :) ) for the one you Don't want to use for calls. I managed to use iphone 4 for calls and BB Torch for music and vice-versa.
hope this helps - if not will try to check when at home

yes but it seems you can only see unread emails received while bberry is connected. could not make satnav to read it to me though :(
with texts on the other hand it shows all recent ones you have on your device
