Retrofit paddle shifter steering wheel

Hi guys,
Anyone here had success with fitting a steering wheel with paddle shifters to an E70 2008 with sports pack?
I have replaced my standard wheel with a 2013 wheel with paddle shifters, mainly because its in great condition compared to my original, but would like to have the shifters working if possible.
