Hello, first post, glad I found this forum.

Looking to buy an E70 in the very near future, so would like to see what advice I can get here. Budget is around 10-11k.

I've looked at one today, a basic but low mileage 30d SE in black, but interior was in a shocking state so walked away.

I'm looking at one tomorrow, then 2 more on Friday.

Spec requirements are DAB, USB, sat nav, black or oyster interior and 7 seats preferred but not essential. I'm not bothered about engine 30/35/40d but do want an LCI version.

I have a seven seat lci 40d and to be honest the extra seats are only of any use for small children. I tried sitting in them and there is no way i could travel in them and i am only 5'9".

For your budget you should get a high spec lci no problem. You say you are not fussed on the engine but try them all and you will notice a difference. Yhe lci also has the later 8 speed transmission which is far superior.
