Can you not get real ones from BMW?

Has anyone installed the Mtec2 LED markers here in the UK, they are meant to be the birghtest around and HID Direct are no selling them.

I have an E53 with Xenox adaptive headlights and would like to get bright white LED rings which are also seen in the day light but don't want to spend the extra on the Mtec units if they are actually no brighter than the standard £35 jobbies from ebay.

These cars seem so sensitive to having non-BMW bits fitted so I wouldn't risk anything other
