Which non standard equipment do you value the most both in cost and use, for me the heated seats are always first priority.

When it comes to buying I've always thought about resale value/appeal, so for me it was:

Auto
Running boards
Comms pack
Leather
Xenons

I did go on to add more bits (see sig) and out of all that I think the heated seats and my heated s/w are the BEST.

I'm not fussed about the roof though. But everyone to their own. Some couldn't care less about comms...

Agreed - I would look for 7 seats plus everything else mine has to make it a worth-while changeover

at the mo the heated seats, love the adaptive xenons they work very well, the pana roof is a nice touch but I've never really needed to open it but for me the most worthwhile option is the nappa comfort seats, they are so comfortable on long jorneys compared to the standard sports seats. The worst options I would say at the Nav feature of the comms pack and never really use the TV feature also.

When I was looking at the E70 before SWMBO chopped the budget :x I was looking at the following priorities -

Media pack
Dynamic pack
Pano roof
Folding mirrors
3rd row
20"ers
Heated seats
Xenons
Privacy glass
DAB

and so on.

It was difficult to find one with all the right bits at the right price, but bought an E53 anyway :driving:

Well they all come with leather now... And are all auto.
For me, satnav for resale ( media pack bundle was cheapest way if doing it and gets the Bluetooth anyway. Pano sunroof prob doesn't affect resale but it does allow a lot more light in the otherwise bleak cabin, Especially if you have gone for black interior! As the salesman said to me, running boards are great - for getting your trousers dirty. :)

Whole family love the heated seats front and rear. I like the hested steering wheel as well. That's Canada for you though from what I hear the UK has been at least as cold these last few weeks. I like the hard disk based music facility as well. Only 12 GB but that's an awful lot of music - I'm nowhere near filling it.

Love my big wheels, heated seats at this time of year, nav/iDrive and the hard drive are pretty good too, I'd say everything if I could as its all part of the car, I wouldn't change a thing if I was to re order tomorrow, well, maybe add a few things in maybe an enhanced head up display like in Top Gun :D
