Service Indicator

Had the X6 service last year and up until the weekend the car was showing 11000 miles to go until next service was due. The car has been parked on the drive since the weekend. Used it last night and it now shows that it is due a service with the word SERVICE on dash display at start up. Where has the 11000 miles to next service gone.
Has someone been using it without my knowledge  :))

Anyone else had this problem, will it be ok to reset the service lights and just get a service when it would normally be due ??

Probably the extreme heat we are having at the moment, lots of strange things happen with heat...just reset it.

[/quote] if you look in the IDrive  service menu it's probably the 2 year brake fluid change has come around.

Was about to suggest something like that. My mates X6 says SERVICE and he actually needs front brake pads if you look on the iDrive.
