Setting the same cabin temp for driver and passenger

Post by Mavster » Tue Aug 05, 2014 10:05 pm

Hi All.

Not sure if this feature has been engineered out of our cars typical functions, but....Is there a button that allows you to then set the same temp for both driver and front passenger by turning just one of the Climate dials and not having to turn both?  I am pretty sure I had this function in a 3 series I had 10 years back..It is useful if you want to change temp, but dont have a passenger with you.. Hope my Q makes sense..

Cheers

Steve

I don't remember seeing it.  There is one to set the rear to match the driver in the iDrive.

Thanks Richard, but that is not quite what I am looking for.

Perhaps it is no longer possible to control both front temp zones to be same as drivers.

If anyone knows different then would be great to hear how it is done.

Cheers

Steve

Hi, had button for that on my 12 plate 330d sport, but is not on my 11 plate X6 so perhaps not common across all models.

X5 F15 has "SYNC" button which when pressed, allows this.

Didn't have a sync button on my old 335i (2009) or the X6 (2011). It is second nature to twiddle both buttons. now
