Hello guys! Newbie here!

Post by Richyroos » Tue May 22, 2018 11:08 am

I am a long term BMW owner, having had a couple of E46 s', two E39's, an E61, and now an E53 X5 3.0D. I have been a member on Bimmerforums and BMWland for some time, and found them very useful, but now having the X5, there don't seem to be many posts about them, and some lack of response to some questions - so I was pleased that someone suggested looking at Xdrivers, which I was not aware of before, which seems rather more lively!! No doubt I shall be posting a few threads before long...…. ::)
If in doubt, and all else fails - read the instructions!!  :) :)

Current car : 2004 E53 X5 3.0D

Hi Richy

I too have had many a different BMW since the mid 80s. Like you this is my first venture into X5 territory.

I have spent the past few weeks putting various defects right and cleaning the thing. Tuesday it goes for its MOT and then we'll see what X5 travel is all about.

Good luck with your own.
