Got an Audi? Bought it on the strength of it's NCAP Rating? Think again!

Post by X5Sport » Sat May 17, 2014 9:43 pm

It appears a number of Audi Dealers are being a little economical with the truth about the NCAP ratings of the cars they sell.

Not all models have been tested, but that's not what the sales person may be telling you....

BBC Report.

We bought ours on the strength of its understeer!!  :))

In fairness you wouldn't expect a company like VAG to be honest about things like that as its mainly all about serious volume profit across all its ranges but if they made less cars overall they might have the time to make them all safe rather than chase volume I think.

Its better to make a couple of marques safe and great rather than five or six marques that don't hit the spot...its typical arrogance from a massive company.
