Post by Sirrepairalot » Fri Apr 12, 2019 12:31 pm

Hi folks, have a problem when accelerating,it feels as though you driving over the cats eyes in the road sort of thing.it gets worse the harder you accelerate.also it only seems do do it when car is warm.it did inform me on impa a while back about the transfer case oil needs changing, just ain’t had a chance yet.do you reckon it’s the trans case on the way out or what.

Torque converter shudder. Get the transmission fluid replaced and stick in a bit of Dr tranny.

Get a code read done. Bosch Autocentre’s have the right software as do BMW Dealers. Could be an iffy servo, crud in a channel, slipping clutch or brake-band under load or transfer box, or even something engine side causing uneven firing under load (injector, MAF, sensor). If the warning is illuminating at least there’ll be a log record.
:ant: Never anthropomorphise computers. They hate that.
