ABS pulse generator will be fitted today, while the tools are out I'm inspecting all the front bushes and links for play.

I wouldn't try and sell this or any other car with any problems present, so if I can locate the little knocking noise that's next.

From there its a full detail and then see what interest it generates, maybe getting a little close to christmas for people to spend this sort of money but you never know.

Sounds like all the problems will be ironed out soon... I wouldn't be getting rid myself - will be a good car now all is fixed. Plus, better the devil you know sometimes. You could end up replacing it with something that has problems or just doesn't tick all the boxes.

Driving it to Bristol on weds, see my poorly dad, I'll actually pass Sheps gaff en route as its less than a mile from the folks, too bad I cant make social gigs but family takes precedence.

Still love the V8 boom shakalaka, if only I could trust it.

I'll be driving it ginger, Londoners will know what I mean.

Sorry to hear of your father being poorly - My dad is 87, not in best of health & I have to drive significant distance to see him.

Now, taking a different tone................

Not heard of "Driving it Ginger"

Does this mean "Driving like a Ginger" ?

I am guessing this means driving in an odd & angry manner, wearing factor 50, without friends in the car - even if the other seats all occupied by passengers ??
