Post by rconwa11 » Tue Oct 26, 2010 8:14 am

Sitting in a multi storey car park with a completly dead battery that my booster pack won't bring back to life. Battery is good and strong tested 2 weeks ago by AA friend! Suggestions as to why after only 12 hours parked is this happening???

It is likley fault that the heater FSR is faulty and runnning the heating fan while the eingine is swithced off. Search for 'FSR' or 'Hedgehog'

The X's take a lot to get them to fire, it is likely that the Battery park is producing enough power to get the engine to fire. I remember calling the AA out for a flat battery and it took 15minutes of charge from his van to get the X to fire.

I had a battery problem whilst on a camping holiday in Cornwall last year. I had the battery tested and it showed no faults, Still went flat in a couple of hours though. I ended up buying a new one and have had no problems since.
