Cleaning Side Steps

Post by CondorX5 » Mon Aug 02, 2010 11:09 am

What is the best product for cleaning up the aluminium side steps really well? There are a few marks and also some staining from what looks like soap/detergent running off the car and drying on the aluminium. Advice appreciated!! :)

Someone previously suggested vaseline left overnight. Lots of posts about it being an old classic car detailing method.

Dont know if it works though!
