Level control system failure.

Post by Stuboy » Tue Dec 05, 2017 10:17 pm

Hi All

I have a problem with my X5 3.0d Msport 2009.

I wonder if any of you guys can help with a weird problem?

Today the level control system failure appeared on the I drive along with the yellow car ramp symbol in the middle of the cluster.

I know this normally relates to the airbags? But I had both airbgad and linkages done under warranty exactly a year ago.

The car doesn’t seem to be sagging.

The pump activated nearly every time I start the engine.

I’ve plugged Carly into her and she showing the following fault code.

Air Suspension
Regular time failure
005F99

It does reset but then comes back again, but only after the pump has been on for 30seconds plus.

I’ve been on google and I’m aiming at the valve block?

What do you guys think?

Quick update.

It ended up been the rear level suspension sensors.

Both replaced under warranty.
