Both my rear tyres have worn out on the outside edge 5mm across the rest of the tyres iam thinking it’s one of the rear bushes or something needs changing any ideas what to change please

Unusual for them to wear on the outer edge, it very common for them to wear on the inner edge due to the X5 running a large negative camber on the rear axle to aid in handling.
Loads of old posts on inner edge wear.
Shouldn't think you would have much suspension wear at 17k

Think an alignment check is in order
Choose your place wisely, ideally a hunter machine for 4 wheel geometry
I’ve tried numerous places locally and whilst the machines are great the user is often......
As such it’s one of few jobs I let the dealer do!

I get mine done at quickfit, they have Hunter and the lads seem to always make a brill job of it.....it's defo just a camber adjustment on yours !
