Rear suspension conversion from air to spring

Post by 007 » Mon Jul 02, 2018 9:06 am

Hello all
My rear air suspension airbags failed... Have been quoted to repair, but have also been strongly recommended to convert from air suspension to spring suspension (American conversion kit)..... they are suggesting the conversion for better use on country/bush roads and also to avoid the possibility of having to replace compressor pump and sensors at some point in the near future....as the car is 10 years old.
Is this recommendation the way to go....
please advise...

Many Thanks

A few on here over the last few years have converted the E53's to coil springs and coded out the warnings for the dash
Kits are available as per link, not sure if Carly or inpa needed or possible to code out the warnings
Defiantly less chance of problems once completed.
