E70 4.8i thinks it's a diesel

I've just had my 2007 E70 4.8i M Sport serviced and the service information screen says the diesel particulate filter will soon need to be changed.
It's very peculiar as it's definitely a petrol model. Is it normal to show a diesel particulate filter even though it's a petrol model?
