One of my headlamp washer jets wont retract. How much of a job are they to remove and either repair or replace? Has anybody else had this problem? Thanks

Noticed one of mine was sitting out so pushed it back in and but a stronger screenwash in and seems ok so far .I guess they get used more in the winter due to less hrs of daylight but only work once very so many window washes so it possible some hardly get used at all and can gum up and stick .

There is a pretty strong internal spring that is supposed to pull the nozzle back in. If yours is failing to retract then it could mean the spring has lost its tension. I replaced the passenger headlight washer jet last weekend. You can get one for less than £20 on eBay. It's quite an easy job if you are at all competent with a bit of diy. Loads of videos on YouTube.

Hi - I had a similar intermittent issue with mine which was fixed by pulling the jets out by hand and giving a good squirt of WD40.
