I wanted to post earlier, but didn't want to jinx it! It would appear that replacing the fluid and reseting the transfer case adaptations has all but cured my low speed shuddering (touching wood!)

Thought I would update on my eventual solution to the DSC and 4x4 lamp issue. After scanning the car and taking account of the indicators not cancelling I bought a replacement SZL unit (steering control switches and stalks) which was used from ebay. Hey presto....no more warning lamps. Well not quite as the passenger restraint system warning now showing, even after clearing fault with carly.

I wonder if maybe the second hand SZL unit has an issue causing this.....I am beginning to hate this car
