Ignition leads (cables)

Hi ALL :)

E53 4.4 2005, (37.000 miles)

Help please.. had a few starting issues of late.. :( (also cut out me at a set of traffic lights this morning and when restarted was misfiring.. did get started ok and got home..  :) so looking to solve the problem, going to change the ignition switch, fuel filter, spark plugs and also the ignition leads (cables) please can you recommend the best ignition leads to buy..

Any one had the same starting problems which may need a different fix  O:-)

You have coil packs on each plug, not HT leads.  £25 - £50 each depending upon manufacturer.

You will probably be better off running diagnostics to see what errors are being reported as it might not be ignition.

I'll put my money on it being the AFM with  the symptoms you describe
E53 X5 4.6is, Carbon Black, LPG, Paddle Shift, Dynavin N6, Lowered, 22"Wheels, Side Bars. Perfusion Exhaust
E30 M3 Black, S50B32 Engine, 6 Speed Box, Ireland Engineering ARBs & Big Brake Conversion, Lowered, 18"LMs, CF CAI, CF Splitter & Barge Board, ZM3 Quad Exhaust.

Diagnostics would be a great starting point.
You could be wasting money replacing stuff that is not broke.
