Today, as per previous post return to browse and been logged out. My log in name is not recognised initially. Repeat the exact same process four times to then be accepted. But once accepted its so quick i can't tick the remember me box

Happens on an Android tablet and phone, i dont think its me, but it is very tedious.

Try logging yourself out and then logging in but press the tick box before entering a username. I think I had to do this months ago with a new iPad and it has worked so far.
