Navigation is more difficult and I have not figured out the difference between New Post and New Replies as I seem to have to do both to get all results back. Have started to use the "posts for 24hours" instead now.

Seems I have to scroll back up through a lot of posts as well when I hit the "new" button in a thread.

Should be ok I suppose once I get my head around it ...

Ditto that - I have been checking posts in 24hrs pretty much since the forum layout change.

What was a quick log in mod/admin check now seems a longer task.

New replies are replies in threads you have posted on since you last logged on.

New posts are any new posts since you last logged on

In the "old" forum, the single option "new posts" would do both.
