Post by Chompers » Sat Mar 09, 2013 1:22 pm

Just wondered what everybody thought about the raft of XDrive cars that will be upon us soon?

Poll Started for interests sake  :)

I voted maybe in that I would say yes, but perhaps as a sub forum just called xdrive to cover them all rather than lots of new sections.

This is purely as I am lazy and don't want to be on my phone doing anymore scrolling. :-[

A big fat Yes from me.  We are all fans of the BMW X Machine and more members can only be a good thing.

X Box's suggestion of an all in compassing forum for the non traditional Xdrive cars is a good idea until the numbers have swelled to justify individual forums.

Richard, as usual we you are spot on...if 535dboy runs around here freely then who are we to stop others?

Important distinction to make - is this an 'X' model forum, or an xdrive forum?

It could be like an Audi Q (Q3,5,7)forum opening up to all Quattro models if it's the latter.

Edited to add: no strong feelings on it either way.

Good feedback and thoughts which is as I guessed it would be. I voted yes on the basis that it will be interesting to get the thoughts of the new owners of these vehicles as I can see people looking to go from 'X' vehicles to 3/5 series and the other way. It was just a thought and clearly for the site owner/mods to decide upon.

I do agree that 1 sub forum should cover all.

There has only been 13 posts in the X1section, and only 40 posts in theX3 section . I don't expect we will be swamped by the new X class owners
It proves X5 and X6 drivers have too much to say for themselves. :))
