All is fine so far just the discs are shot and need new discs and pads. Wipers need changing too. Otherwise looks ok just wasn’t prepared for big consumable expenses just days into ownership.

Pretty poor show from the supplying dealer, I say, but then the warning signs were all there......they left the bent wheel unfixed and you had problems getting them to sort out identified faults and get the car ready for you and they spun you all sorts of yarns, but that’s the dishonest world of used car dealers I guess.
If the brakes or wipers or bent wheel are so “shot” as to be dangerous or unserviceable , the dealer that sold it would legally have to rectify - you only bought the car a few days ago!  It is a pre-existing fault and it emerged within a few days of sale.
Big outlay when you bought the car a few days ago and a very dishonest supplying dealer, whoever they may be.

I believe you are right.  No such thing as ‘sold as seen’ from car traders, like Condor, I believe you have a good case to get them to repair everything at their expense.

Yeah they've got to advertise the bad points aswell as the good points take them the repair sheet from Stratstones along with the words trading standards. (nice car  ;) )

I’ve sent an email with attached VHC report. See what happens.
Anyway my trusted ford dealer said that even though the discs are 1mm below spec and have a lip on the outer edge the fact that the pads are full should mean I don’t need to change them.
The pads he said were bedded to discs so should wait till the pads wear out and then change both together. He didn’t want me to waste my money as the pads were full.
