What haven't we changed !!!

Well Anthony seems to have turned his x5 into an M4 !!

you can code the interior sound - so we changed that to an x5m !!! sounds so much better

so far I have done

X5m - interior engine
halo brightness to 40%
M screen on start up
handle lights in reverse
sport on start up
[/quote]

Is this a wind-up? Can the active sound be modified? This is with Bimmercode?

OK

Here you go

Buy the bimmercode app - buy the dongle from amazon -- all in about £45

Then go into your VIN / ECU on the app go into the first option ADS then go into expert mode

In the expert mode

make sure on Slow connection

FO85 model
S63B44 engine
Stereo Audio Level
TL 05 Power Class

code it - go for a drive and smile  ;) ;) ;) ;)

You have to pay when it comes to wanting to make changes. At least that’s the case with the iPhone version.

Keen to get the X5 to sound like a V8 Beast  :-[ I unfortunately didn’t manage to get the vgate Icar Pro WiFi to avoid timing out, while reading the ECUs. Was in contact with BimmerCode support and will have another go this afternoon. This timing out business, anyone experienced that?

Thanks and very interesting.

I've done that however leaving the audio as TopHifi/Branded TopHifi (0x03), does that make any difference because to be honest my car sounds the same!

I'd also like to know is there any way to get either the gears or rev counter shown in HUD when in sport much like my old F10 M5?

Have concluded that the vgate icar pro WiFi adapter is not working, as it times out every time while reading the ECU. Ordered the vgate icar 2 instead, after advice from BimmerCode that are seeing quite a few requests with faulty Pro adapters. Just a heads up.
