How accurate is the computer in predicting brake pad wear? my computer is telling me my front pads will last 3200 miles - cheers

I have seen many saying not a lot of miles left but when checked the pads had loads left on them.
The outside one is easy to see but inside not so easy.

Good question! My rear pads went from 10.000 km to 2000 km in a week, where I drove 1000 km. They have lasted 50.000 km so far, but will book it in just in case.

On my X6 it still said that I had about 8,000 miles left but the inboard pads were all but shot!  Outboard looked fine.
