Post by poolie » Wed May 30, 2018 2:34 pm

Hello

Anyone point me in the right direction for a dashcam for my X5? Want something that's easy to fit and records over night if possible.

Nextbase do a whole range.  Work well day & night.

I have Nextbase in all my cars
Cable can be run under the trim to the footwell and there is a handy 12v socket there to use too
F15 for the dogs, 996 C4S for road trips, Defender for the mud & E36 M3 for the track

I had a Thinkware F770 in mine and it was really subtle.

If you want to hard wire, there is a fuse box in the driver footwell; run the wires down the driver's pillar and remove the access panels on the side and underneath. Very simple.
