21" summer RFT

Post by X5M50d » Thu Sep 27, 2018 8:40 pm

15k miles and my rear P Zero tyres need renewing.
Can anyone advice on a tyre where I can get better wear.
The P Zeros are expensive and not good value for money if I can only get this little mileage.
Any Ideas!

This lists all of the ‘OEM Supported’ tyres, though there may be others.

I had Dunlop’s on my 40d to start with and only got about the same mileage from them.  Bridgestone on now and wearing a little better.  Living near Milton Keynes means rears get eaten by roundabouts  :(

P-Zero tyres have always been ‘soft’ as tother half discovered when she wore a set out in just 9k on her Leon Cupra R - and that was after I had done a front>rear swap (remember when we could do things like that).

I got good wear out of conti sport 5 (24k) which I see is one of the listed tyres. Now got conti sport 6 and will be lucky to get 15k?? Are the 5’s still sold.
