Was at dealers last wk for service and spoke with sales about new model.  They were glowing about it as they had seen 3 of them when down at BMW HQ, said interior is real upgrade on existing.  (yeah, there job is to sell, will tell u sh'te is sugar, so they will  :)))

Still not convinced on overall shape though.  I reckon its lost its punchy stance and aggressive pose.  BMW prob know this and  will revert to more aggressive look when F15 gets its LCI in 3yrs time  ;)

So

Interior much the same other than stuck on screen which looks silly

Outside looks better than pics to be fair. Front has one hell of a shark nose look to it.

Guess the telling is in the driving.

Have to agree the screen doesn't look right on the current crop of BMWs.  Somewhere to put the paper maybe?

Although the interior being similar to current model isn't too bad as it's a nice place to be.  I take it the sales guy was trying to tempt you back?

Do tell how it fares... as I've ordered one or two already.....

I have a 30d due at the end of November and a 40d in January (in case i dont like the 30d :))

On the whole, I'd rather have the 4 series... but then the dog would have to go on the roofrack.

So 535dboy, did you not drive it? I'm keen to hear whether the 30d is nippy... or not....
