E70 Wheels on an F25

Post by Lyons » Tue Dec 18, 2018 12:21 pm

Has anyone ever seen an F25 with E70 20” wheels? I’ve checked the fitment and the fronts would sit 17mm further out and 21mm closer to the struts, while the rears would sit 25mm further out.

I’m just not sure about the 21mm closer to the strut st the front. On paper it sounds like it might be ok?

A guy is interested in my 20” Style 336 wheels and wants to know if they’d work on his X3.

Thanks

Hi i would not advise it as the wheels have different offsets , weights and tyres , the geometry of the car will totally change plus the diff and axle problems will accelerate .
Have you tried them on ebay or gumtree ?

It wouldn’t bother me. I’ve had lots of wheels from different cars on previous vehicles and have never had any issue.

I have them on gumtree just, eBay fees are too much.

Hi it is just the fact that the tyres are 30mm more on the front and 40mm more on the rears plus the extra weight of the tyres and wheels .
