Illumination light with no where to put it
When I first got the X5 E53 for the wife I had the problem of door not opening from the outside. Anyway fixed that by changing the door carrier and have the scars to prove it. When fitting the plugs to the window switch block I found an illumination light had no hole to practically fit in. I guessed it was to light the window switch, but then again would that not have been within the block and supplied by one of the three plugs?

It goes in the opening handle (hinge side).
