2015 20d vs 30d

Post by spe » Sun Sep 17, 2017 9:48 am

Hi
I am currently in the market to purchase an X3 2015 model but not sure which engine to go for the 20d or the 30d?
Is the 20d under powered ? is the 30d a gas guzzler?
Any advice or opinion would be greatly appreciated, I have not test drove either yet, but do value real owners input.
Thank you in advance.

Hi I had a test drive in a 2014 auto 20d xdrive X3 on Friday it was fairly slow compared with my E53 30d X5 but very good to drive , light and airy , good size boot , well spec d and had 20" wheels .
Depends how you drive really up to you to have a test drive in both ! It was the latest model too .

just purchased a 2.0 2015 M-Sport. I'm not after the grunt and want a bit more mpg so that's why I settled on the 2.0. Its certainly not underpowered for a 4x4. The only way is to test drive one.
